Payment Terms

1. Overview

These Payment Terms govern all payments made through the Seeek platform (“Platform”). By using the Platform, you agree to these terms.

Seeek acts as a facilitator of payments between Clients and Freelancers and may hold funds in accordance with project agreements and platform policies.

2. Payment Methods

Payments on the Platform may be made using:

  • Credit or debit cards
  • Third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe or equivalent services)

All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

3. Milestone Payments

3.1 Funding a Milestone

Clients are required to fund milestones before work begins. Once funded:

  • Funds are held securely by the Platform
  • Funds are not accessible to the Freelancer until released
  • Funding a milestone indicates commitment to proceed with the work

3.2 Holding of Funds

Funds may be held by the Platform until:

  • The milestone is completed and approved, or
  • The project is completed (for guaranteed projects), or
  • A dispute is resolved

4. Release of Funds

4.1 Standard Release

Funds are released to the Freelancer when:

  • The Client approves the submitted work, or
  • The Client manually releases the milestone

4.2 Automatic Release

The Platform may automatically release funds if:

  • The Client does not respond within a reasonable review period, or
  • The project meets predefined completion conditions

5. Platform Fees

Seeek charges service fees for facilitating transactions on the Platform.
These may include:

  • Project commission fees
  • Guarantee delivery fees (if applicable)
  • Additional service fees (e.g., code hosting, QA services)

All applicable fees will be displayed before payment is completed.

6. Guarantee Delivery Projects

For projects marked as “Guarantee Delivery”:

  • Funds may be held until the entire project is completed
  • Partial withdrawals may be restricted
  • Additional platform rules may apply

This ensures delivery assurance and quality control.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

7.1 Before Work Begins

If a milestone is funded but no work has started:

  • The Client may request cancellation
  • Funds may be refunded in full

7.2 After Work Begins

If work has started:

  • Refunds are subject to mutual agreement, or
  • Resolution through the Platform's dispute process

8. Disputes

In case of disputes:

  • The Platform may review submitted materials, communications, and deliverables
  • Funds may be held during the review process
  • The Platform's decision will be final unless otherwise required by law

9. Withdrawals

Freelancers may withdraw available funds subject to:

  • Completion of required verification
  • Minimum withdrawal thresholds
  • Applicable processing fees

Processing times may vary depending on the payment method.

10. Currency

All transactions are processed in the displayed currency (e.g., USD or AUD).
Currency conversion fees may apply depending on the payment provider.

11. Third-Party Services

Payments are processed by third-party providers.
Seeek is not responsible for:

  • Payment processing delays
  • Failed transactions due to provider issues
  • External fees charged by payment providers

12. Modifications

Seeek reserves the right to update these Payment Terms at any time.
Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
