Project Overview

Duggy (duggy.app) lets cricket clubs run their money without a spreadsheet: members, contributions, match expenses, tournaments and a clean balance for every player, all in one place on the phone. Live on the web, Google Play and the App Store, in English and Hindi. Key features: club and member management, contribution tracking and match fee collection, expense recording, tournament accounting, per-player balances and announcements. Free to start with no card required, with paid plans billed through TinTorch Account, which also handles sign-in. Duggy has grown into a family of add-ons for modern cricket clubs: Duggy Score (live scoring with instant scorecards and statistics), Duggy Bookings (players reserve turfs, nets and courts online) and Duggy Auctions (live player auctions with real-time bidding and team purse management). At the time of writing the platform tracks 234 clubs, 779 players and over Rs 30 lakh in club money. Product analytics and in-app surveys run on PostHog.

My Role

Founder, product designer and sole developer. The product comes directly from 15+ years of playing and organising club cricket in Mumbai, so the accounting model (contributions, match fees, tournament kitties, per-player balances) matches how clubs actually handle money. I built the web app, the Android and iPhone apps, the billing integration and the three add-on products (Score, Bookings, Auctions), and run the infrastructure. Results: 234 clubs and 779 players on the platform with over Rs 30 lakh of club money tracked, live on both app stores, free-to-paid conversion handled entirely through TinTorch Account billing.
