Project Overview

Designed and developed a web-based logistics platform that helps businesses manage shipments, deliveries, and transportation operations from one centralized system. Customers can create shipments, track delivery status, view estimated arrival times, manage addresses, and access shipping documents and delivery history. Real-time tracking provides clear visibility from pickup through final delivery. The platform also includes an operations dashboard for managing orders, drivers, delivery routes, shipment statuses, and customer records, with reporting tools that provide insights into delivery performance and day-to-day logistics activity.

Tech Stack

The platform follows a web-based architecture with Next.js, React, and TypeScript on the client side and Java/Spring Boot services behind the API layer. PostgreSQL serves as the primary data store for shipments, customers, drivers, routes, and delivery records. Redis improves access to frequently changing tracking data, while Google Maps API handles geolocation, mapping, and routing. The production environment is hosted on AWS.
